Certification with the go-cluster Gold Label

The aim of the project entitled Cluster Excellence 2020 is to expand and raise the networking activities of the Wind Energy Sector Network (WAB e. V.) to a level of excellence so that the north-west can position itself permanently as a leading international onshore and offshore wind energy cluster.

The go-cluster Silber Label awarded to Bremen’s WAB Cluster by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (2016/2017/2018) is to be raised to Gold level. This should strengthen the cluster and the wind energy companies based in the north-west. The funding for innovation is to be raised to a level comparable to that of other wind energy clusters, and the State of Bremen’s cluster strategy is to be further implemented and improved.

The project is financed with funding from the European Union and the State of Bremen – by the Senator for Climate Change Mitigation, Environment, Mobility, Urban Development and Housing Construction under the Applied Environmental Research funding programme.
